Astăzi este ziua naţională a Groenlandei. Cea mai mare insulă din lume este o parte autonomă a Regatului Danemarcei. Cetatenii Groenlandei sarbatoresc cea mai lunga zi a anului, 21 Iunie, cu muzica si dansuri traditionale, vîslind pe caiacuri si adunându-se cu ocazia asa-numitei „kaffemik”.

Today is the national day of Greenland. The largest island in the world is an autonomous part of the Kingdom of Denmark. The people of Greenland celebrate the longest day of the year with traditional music, dance, kajaking and gatherings, so-called “kaffemik”. We wish our North Atlantic friends a very happy national day!
